WHO WE ARE

Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School (MTC) provides a Christ-centered education that nurtures students’ faith and prepares students to face the challenges of today’s rapidly changing society. Faith is integrated into all areas of education through participation at Mass, liturgical events, sacramental preparation, daily prayer and service projects.

OUR PROGRAMS

Children who are two years of age by September 1 of the school year.

Our “Sprout” program is designed to engage the children in age appropriate activities in a “playful and informal” atmosphere. Activities that fit both of these categories will include a fluid structure that encourages creativity in their development of large muscles, build early vocabulary, fine motor skills and engage them socially.

Prek3 is meant to foster a love of learning and an excitement for education.

The children practice classroom skills (sitting in a chair, lining up), self help skills (washing hands, zippering coat), fine motor skills (puzzles, cutting), gross motor skills (climbing, throwing a ball), pre-writing and pre-reading (drawing lines and circles, holding a book properly.)

Small group instruction & individualized planning to ensure readiness for Kindergarten.

This class considers your child’s developmental readiness and moves at your child’s instructional pace. Emphasis is on boosting the children’s confidence and strengths so they can be independent participants in the classroom.

Children who have completed PreK4 & need another year before entering Kindergarten.

Transitional Kindergarten includes an emphasis on Christian values and learning about Jesus, oral language development, literacy immersion and number sense.
